Thomson Ad October 2011
Thomson Ad October 2011 "Time for a holiday?" 30"
A demanding job, the household chores, the school run, walking the dog... with a 'to do' list like that, is it any wonder we struggle to fit in quality time with the people we care about most? If that sounds familiar, our new TV ad will strike a chord. It shines the spotlight on spending time with your loved ones, and looks at those special moments you have on holiday together -- you know, the sort of moments that flash through your mind when you're racing through the day, ticking off jobs left, right and centre. At Thomson, we get that holiday time is precious. It's that rare window in your calendar when you get to stop the rushing, relax, and really focus on your nearest and dearest. That's why we're the only travel company that designs holidays so that every bit, however big or small, is just right for you. Just take a look at our different ranges and you'll see what we mean. There's everything from Thomson Couples, a range of contemporary, adults-only hotels, to Thomson Family Resorts, which go all out when it comes to family holidays. It means all you have to do is sit back and enjoy yourself, with those that matter most. World's Largest Indoor Wave Pool, Japan
World's Largest Indoor Wave Pool, Japan
During the hot and humid summer holidays, Japanese flock to the pools. "Ocean Dome" is the largest indoor wave pool in the world and holds a Guinness Record for it. Subscribe: www.youtube.com I worked here during holiday periods for about three years and this video shows my part in the surfing show performing my own Guinness Book of World Records entry. Follow the link to the real Ocean Version of my stunt here: www.youtube.com UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to financial concerns the Ocean Dome was sold to Sheraton Hotels and has been indefinitely closed. I believe this was the best and largest surfing wave (non-flowrider) EVER for a pool. They held world ASP events here and several top pro surfers commented that these were the best waves they ever surfed in a wave pool. Check this out...I SURFED IN A CAVE (I'm not sure why) : www.youtube.com Most recently, I attempted RIVER SURFING in Japan: www.youtube.com Thanks for watching... Surfing is life...... Bellagio Fountains - 'Luck be a lady tonight?': A Different Perspective.
Bellagio Fountains - 'Luck be a lady tonight?': A Different Perspective.
Frank Sinatra seems to have spent lots of time in Las Vegas. I spent 24 hours. Walking from 7am on 30th May to 7am 31st May - Memorial Day. On that day any luck I had ran out! My Greyhound Bus was hijacked by a Mexican who attached the driver with a knife. The 58 passengers ended up stuck in the middle of nowhere for two hours. The police were ready to shot up the bus to take control as they thought this a big event. It was covered on TV and seems to have been shown coast to coast in America and reported in all the national newspapers. Even, here in Dundee, an American whom i just happened to speak to commented - "were you on that bus!!". The police thought the risk of an attack my hijacked bus To Las Vegas on Memorial Day was high. This was Memorial Day!!! The first video response (below)provides an adaptation of this video and relates my research with Las Vegas in which my relative influenced the man that made Las Vegas possible. See the second video response (below)to understand why I was in America and tracing the footsteps of my relative. See video "Graham Duncan's Greyhound bus hijacking" (third video response below)for more infromation. 25/1/09 ****** NEWS UPDATE ******** It appears that the spirit of Sinatra has told me through Warner Music Group (WMG) that Mr Sinatra no longer wishes to be part of this video! The Mafia still rules it seems. This was a video of the Bellagio Fountains with the real sound of 'Luck be a lady tonight' - it was how it was actually ...
